We are cordially inviting you to Hong Kong for the 7th Textile Bioengineering and Informatics Symposium (TBIS 2014), which will be jointly held with the 5th Asia Protective Clothing Conference (APCC 2014), in August 6-8, 2014 in Hong Kong, China. TBIS 2014 is co-organized by Textile Bioengineering and Informatics Society and Institute of Textiles and Clothing, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University with a theme of “Innovations for Protection, Health and Sustainability”.
Over the past six years, Textile Bioengineering and Informatics Symposia (TBIS) have made significant achievements. TBIS proceedings have been included in CPCI/ISTP and JFBI (Journal of Fiber Bioengineering and Informatics) has been indexed by worldwide scientific and academic reputable databases such as Ei Compendex, Scopus, Library of Congress, CNKI, Google Scholar, Microsoft Academic Search, WorldCat and Ulrichsweb. In the CPCI/ISI Web of Knowledge database, TBIS has published 1315 research papers since 2008, becoming a leading academic conference organizer and publisher in the field of textile and apparel. TBIS has established an effective platform for academic institutions and individual scholars, researchers and students to publish their research works and communicate with peers and experts in the field to get recognitions and increase impact such as citations and h-indexes.
In TBIS 2014, we will try our best to generate recognizable research outcomes for you as we did in previous TBIS symposia. We will invite international experts to review papers, publish symposium proceedings and apply CPCI (ISTP) indexing. High quality papers will be selected for publication in Journal of Fiber Bioengineering and Informatics (JFBI, indexed by EI and Scopus) and/or other international journals.
